Biography

I am entering my 5th year as an Animation teacher and my 13th overall year of teaching. I am a Graphic Design graduate from UTEP, turned teacher. My knowledge in Graphic Design and working in the industry has helped me with learning the necessary programs used to create animations in the Animation classes.

I hope to enhance my student's desires to follow a creative pathway in their career.

As an animation Teacher, I am super proud of all my student's work. They surprise me every year as they go above and beyond learning concepts to create extraordinary works of animation.

Outline of Student Work

Students begin learning about the concept of animation; What it is and how it has evolved into the successful industry of today.

First steps are to learn about the History of animation, archaic forms of animation and basic principles that help create successful animations.

With learning about the history, art of storyboarding is a crucial component in planning an animation. Scaffolding knowledge of how to create animations will allow for student success.

Once the basic concepts are learned,
